Is QRmario really free?
Yes. Every feature — dynamic codes, analytics, bulk create, password protection and downloads — is free right now, with no credit card and no trial clock. If we ever add paid plans, we’ll announce them well in advance.
What is a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic QR code points to a short QRmario address that redirects to your link. Because the redirect lives on our side, you can change where the code goes after it’s printed, and see how many times it’s scanned. A static code has the destination baked in and can never change.
Do QRmario QR codes expire?
No. There is no trial that runs out, so your codes aren’t paused after a week. Change the link or type whenever you like — the printed code stays the same.
How is QRmario different from QRfy or QR Forever?
Both charge for dynamic codes after a 7-day trial, and QRfy pauses codes when the trial ends. With QRmario, dynamic codes, scan analytics, bulk create and password protection are all free right now.
Can I make a Wi-Fi, WhatsApp or vCard QR code?
Yes — QRmario supports websites, contact cards (vCard), WhatsApp, locations, phone calls, SMS, email, plain text and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi codes are static so phones can join straight from the camera.
Can I create many QR codes at once?
Yes. Upload a CSV with up to 500 rows, check every row before anything is saved, and download all the codes as one ZIP of PNG and SVG files.
What do you track when someone scans?
The time, device type, operating system, browser and approximate location (country and city). We don’t store IP addresses and don’t set cookies on scans. Unique visitors are counted with a one-way hash that changes every day.
